The Oregon Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, Aug. 19, at 8:30 a.m. at the Natural Resource Building, 3415 Commercial St. SE, in Salem.
Andy Eno from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will give the committee an update on CSA 2010. The committee will also hear presentations on roundabouts; transportation system plans and freight mobility requirements; and other topics.
Gregg Dal Ponte, Motor Carrier Division administrator, will facilitate the meeting. The committee is made up of representatives from the Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon State Police, the trucking industry and related industries.
Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities.
